A tip of the hat to the people who show the mark of character as it’s said, “when no one’s looking.” The person that takes your order at the drive-thru at 6:30 in the morning, the worker at the bottle return center who manages to be courteous while doing a very rough job, the clerk in the store who makes the shopping experience a positive one, and so on. Recently the people at the water board assisted us with courtesy and effort, one personally delivering water to people unable to pick it up themselves. A special note of agencies like the Fulton County Veterans Office whose secretary Brenda welcomes we veterans with courtesy and assistance. The agency’s coordinator, Dan Engel, is an illustration of how an organization’s effect is often the result of positive management. So hats off again to “the cogs in the wheel” — the teachers, doctors and nurses, who answer the call and do their job well. Thank You.
