ALBANY - A Niskayuna man admitted Thursday in federal court to possessing child pornography, prosecutors said.
Aaron Griesche, 40, pleaded guilty Thursday. He is to be sentenced later and faces up to 20 years in prison.
Griesche admitted that he possessed child pornography on a USB flash memory stick found in his residence in 2021, prosecutors said.
He is to be sentenced May 10.
The FBI and the New York State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigated. Assistant U.S. Attorney Dustin C. Segovia is prosecuting.
